Asa at 6 Months

My little six month old. What, did I say SIX months!?! How did this happen so fast?

Little boy Asa is more precious than ever! He is full of facial expressions, giggles, and small talk. He likes to nurse and not too big on solid foods yet. He loves to watch his siblings play, and is perfectly content as long as he can see and hear them. He has a huge open mouth smile that he gives away generously and big blue eyes with long dark lashes. What a dream baby!

He is starting to master sitting up and is even graceful at falling forward to get on his belly. He rolls all around and has even gotten his head stuck under the couch! He is constantly sticking his tongue out and puts everything in his mouth.

We have made it six months without buying diapers thanks to all our family and friends, but now the fun has begun with the cloth diapering! So far we have survived one week and only used a pamper to sleep in. I have had no problems with leaking and used them for every outing. I do a load of laundry every night and have them all ready to go for in the morning. Little man looks so cute in them!

 Love his silly faces!

You can now see why I always have so many pictures of Asa…because the other two are A LOT HARDER to photograph! Oh well, it makes for good laughs.

Asa man loves to play peek-a-boo and will give the biggest smiles that way!

He is just too cute to handle!

Attempted again to get a group picture, but instead got a picture of Jude and Eden with their pet dog! Hah!

Today, we took the kids to the park and I had intentions of taking photos of them all and aside from the few above, I just ended up just getting a few really good ones of Asa. Story of my life.

Daddy with his second boy:

And finally a few pictures of me with my baby boy!

Six months with you have been wonderful. I have treasured each day I have been gifted with you. I speak for our whole family when I say that we are head over heels in love with you. You are a blessing from God and we are beyond thankful for you. We want to teach you that although we love you more than life, God loves you more. You were made for and by him. You were made to bring him praise and enjoy all things because of Christ. We want nothing more for your life than to bring Him glory. We will continue to pray without ceasing that you will love the Lord with all you heart.

1Kings 15:14b "Nevertheless, the heart of Asa was wholly true to the LORD all his days."
