Back from Break
Finally entering the blogging world again after a long hiatus! I do have multiple reasons for my lack of blogging: I got pregnant and was sick and very tired, I have two toddlers that I have to sit with until they fall asleep, and I had a baby!
However, I now have a little extra time on my hands due to the fact that as I am typing this, Jude and Eden are laying in their room chatting before they fall asleep!!!! We have had a few minor accidents this week (jumping on the bed, knocking picture frames off the wall, and falling out of the beds on their heads) but this week has been over all successful at letting them fall asleep on their own. And let me just say that sitting with them for 2+ hours every nap and night time as they (mainly EDEN) fall asleep is my not my favorite thing to do! So this is a HUGE praise that allows me time to spend with Michael each night!
Anyways, back to blogging- I really do miss my outlet to write and document our ever changing lives! Here lately, I have really enjoyed going back and reading about Jude and Eden as babes and I want to be able to continue to remember what is going on in our life right now!
The kids are HILARIOUS these days, with two talking toddlers, and I am always texting Michael and my mom funny stories from our day. And we all know I am still putting my camera to use! So there is not a better time than now to jump back into the blogging world!
Let me start by filling you in on what's been going on in our life the past couple of months. We had a third kid, and my life changed drastically. I have had people say that the third kid is the biggest adjustment and I now believe them. Don't get me wrong, it is not a bad adjustment, but it is a big adjustment. For me, the baby, is the easiest, but handling my other two, along with him quite a challenge.
I have gotten used to actually staying at home! Before I was always on the go, running to Target, Walmart, TJ Max anytime I wanted. But now my outings have to be strategically planned! No more spontaneous trips out!
I also have to plan for at least 30 minutes of loading time to get us all out the door!
I have learned to spank while holding the baby!
Nursing time, means "let's see what we can destroy" for Jude and Eden.
Everyone is ALWAYS hungry at the same time.
I only thought I knew what little sleep I could live on.
But then there are times when they all melt your heart at the same time! Like when Asa lets out the tiniest of cries and both Jude and Eden come running! Or when Asa is sitting in his bumbo seat and both Jude and Eden are sitting right beside him. Or when they all three are laying beside each other under the baby play mat.
These kids love each other and fill my home with so much joy. Michael has already been joking about going ahead and having another baby because we love them all so much! The third kid has really help focus my parenting by actually having to parent. I enjoy being home now. I love playing with them, teaching them, and just watching them grow. My kids are awesome! I love this stage in my life and I am so excited to begin sharing again my heart and our life again on the blog!
