Beginning an Outside Makeover
Well let me begin with saying that as of this afternoon, the kids are feeling better! This weekend Eden’s cough got worse and Jude has had stomach issues. Hopefully we are through the worst of it! They have been so happy to get to play together once again and not be quarantined to their own rooms!
You can tell they are starting to feel better!
They enjoy eating lunch together, and I am starting the process of letting Eden eat at the table instead of her highchair. We always turn on music while we eat and sing and raise out hands!
Now back to the reason for this post: Saturday, we began the process of cleaning up our yard. I have taken a few before and after pictures, but please note, that this is still a major work in progress! Unfortunately the weather here has taken a turn for the cold, so it looks like our makeover is going to be postponed!

Jude did such a good job working right alongside of Daddy all day! While Eden was cute just to watch and enjoy her snacks before nap time!
We replanted most of the plants we dug up from the front flower bed. Jude was such a big helper to go around and water them all!
We moved the vine and the hummingbird feeder to the back yard.
I was so excited to find to two big hydrangeas full of buds! And I have yet to decide where to replant all the daffodils I salvaged!
We also now have an official rose garden: (one was already there and the other was moved from the front yard)
And some new patio furniture.
And that is it so far. That was a full days work that our body is still paying for.
Thank you so much to Drew for helping us also, and to Josh for letting us use his lawn equipment! I can’t wait to get back in the yard to re-plant all our flowers! Warm weather please come back!!
I love seeing the pictures and reading your comments, you have a gift in expressing yourself well. The yard is looking great, I like the patio furniture too. Eden hair is cute with the short pig tails. She and Jude are such happy kids. You and Michael are so blessed. We love you all and miss you guys so much.
