Project 365: Days 39-43

So I fell off the Project 365 bandwagon for a few days! I have still been taking pictures, but we have had a really busy few days and I have not even been able to get on the computer! It would be no problem for me to edit my pictures and post a blog during the kids nap time, but since we only have one computer, Michael needs it at work most of the time! I have already decided that I do not want to stress myself out by having to get a post in, so I may miss a few days here and there (especially in the next two weeks, we already have something planned almost every night!)

Jude and Eden have really been doing better and better about playing together. They will sit and play in his room or the kitchen for a good 30 minutes at a time! Sometimes I think Jude is being a little rough with her, but she loves every minute of it! (she is very ticklish)

On Friday, we were able to go to a Rodeo. One of the Deacon's at the church used to bull ride and is a judge. When I told Jude the news, he was so excited and wanted to put on his cowboy gear thinking that we were going to the rodeo for him to ride the bull! I broke him the news that they do not let little boys ride bulls, and in tears he replied “We’ll see mama!”

Luckily at the rodeo, they had miniature horses for the kids to ride. But once he got off the horse he said “Mama, I ready to ride the bull now!” And this kid intently watched bull riding until 10:30 that night!

Saturday we went over to Michael’s mom’s and visited with her family! Michael’s sister Kim got ENGAGED on Friday night, so we spent some time talking about wedding details! And that night we all went to the Barnum and Bailey’s Circus! So two late nights in a row for this group!

Little Eden is now blossoming into a toddler! She has totally quit breast feeding this week and prefers walking over crawling! My baby is growing up! Today we enjoyed the wonderful weather with a picnic lunch outside followed by some play time!

Eden’s 9 month pants are about to fall off of her! at almost 15 months, 6 month clothes fit her perfect!

Jude has almost perfected his pedaling skills! Here lately, he can go from being the meanest little kid to the sweetest in about 60 seconds! He has also been very talkative and asks a lot of questions!

Going through Wal-Mart the other day, he wanted to know where Jesus lived. He was very shy asking the question, and he caught me off guard. So I asked him to repeat what he said, and he said “never mind.” And sat back down in the buggy thinking. A few minutes later he asked again. So I told him that Jesus was in heaven. He got a puzzled look on his face and then asked, “When is he going to come rescue me?” I was so glad to explain to him once again the Jesus has already rescued us, but that he would come back to get us if we didn’t go to heaven first. I love having a little kid that likes to ponder and think about Jesus!

Today Jude asked to go on an adventure, so we walked around the side of the house and played in the front yard for a bit! I love exploring new parts of our property! I can not wait for spring to get here!

We came in just before the appraiser got here. I told Jude that a man was coming over to look at our house and take some pictures. When he finally did come in the house, Jude hid from him and kept yelling that he was a bad guy! I was a little embarrassed, but what can you do? At least I don’t have to worry about him going away with strangers!

Well, that about wraps up our weekend! I hope everyone is having a great week!
