Adventures with Reagan and Chase
We were so lucky to get to spend two whole days with Reagan and Chase! I just love these kids and would claim them as my own in a heat beat!
Reagan is growing up so fast and is about to start third grade!
While Chase needs to stop growing as well! He is about to go into kindergarten!
When I used to babysit them, I would imagine and pray that one day I would be able to have children of my own. And now that I so have my own children, I still consider Reagan and Chase as my first little babies!
I am so happy that they still love to spend time with me and now even love my children. Reagan is the “mama” and Chase is the “entertainer”!
They first day they came over, Michael’s mom and my friend Monica took all the kids to the pool and indoor splash park. Everyone was so excited to go swimming!
The night before Michael and I had been watching Michael Phelps swim for gold. I did swim in high school but wasn’t any good! Still after watching the Olympics, I was feeling inspired! I tried to teach Reagan how to do different strokes. We did many laps across the pool and most of them were me doing the breast stroke with Chase on my back. What a sight for everyone there!
We all had so much fun. Even sweet Eden who watched from the sidelines!
I loved trying to get a group shot!
Day two: Reagan being her usual mom self!
And Chase and Jude having fun!
That morning we headed off to the Children’s Museum in Raleigh. Micahel, Nana, and Aunt Kim all joined in on this adventure!
The Museum was nice and huge! Everyone loved playing in there tiny town. Reagan and I doctored up animals in the mini vet. While Chase and Jude shopped in the grocery and cooked in the kitchen.
Here is Chase with the car he built!
Reagan was the only one brave enough to play hockey!
And Jude was happy as could be to just hang on the basketball goal!
These surf boards gave us many laughs!
Chase and Jude serious about building!
Overall we had a great time there although we were all exhausted by the time we left! All the kids were asleep in about the first 10 minutes in the car!
Below are a few of my many attempts to get a picture of them all together. They were are too funny for me not to include a few!
Reagan and Chase I love you so much… and I love your parents too! Thank you for still allowing me to be a part of your lives!
Below is a link to a few pictures I was able to take of them:
