Gatorland
As I was clearing off my memory card today, I came across some pictures from our trip to Gatorland from a few weeks ago. They were to cute and funny not too share!
One afternoon, my mom and I loaded up the kids for a quick trip to Gatorland!
Immediately Jude loved the place because there were huge birds walking all around!
Then he had to climb on the big gator and give him a kiss!
But in all seriousness, this place was far better than I expected. It was clean and had good food (ice cream and smoothies)!
Jude enjoyed looking at all the huge alligators! He would put his nose right through the fence to get as close to them as he could!
Here is my favorite, the albino alligator.
And here is Jude's favorite, the peacock we kept running into!
They also had a small petting zoo that Jude was ecstatic about!
He enjoyed feed the goats,
…then telling each of the good bye!
All the while Eden, our gymnast, was content in the stroller with Sophie.
Another big thrill for Jude was the small aviary. You could buy popsicle sticks with peanut butter and birdseed on them and the birds would flock to you!
But because of my love for birds, I did not go in! You just never know when those things are going to attack… like shown below!
After that incident, Jude was done with the birds as well and decided he would eat the peanut butter and bird seed himself!
After we were finished with that, we headed across the park for a train ride. Jude was so excited about this, until we discovered we could walk faster backwards and still beat the train! Still, it was nice to sit in the shade and relax for a bit!
And Eden enjoyed getting to get out of the stroller!
Our last stop at Gatorland was their little splash park.
However, trying to get Jude not to drink the recycled water was a feat! I guess he needed something to wash down all the birdseed!
Overall, we survived our trip to Gatorland with a few cute pictures and lots of good memories!
